How to Level Up

What makes a great team? Every member training at the correct level makes up a great team. Your athlete didn't make the team they wanted; what do you do? Do you shop around and find a club that will put your athlete where YOU think they belong? Sure that's an option, but you run the risk of having your athlete put somewhere they don't belong; where they won't be successful and will either quit, hate the sport or become frustrated they are not on the same playing level of the rest of the athletes; thereby hurting their self-esteem and confidence in their abilities.

Your athlete really wants to be on the next level?

SOLUTION: Sign up for additional tumbling clinics, try some privates or semi-privates; try a few extra tumbling classes at a nearby gymnastics centre, attend open gyms to work on those skills. Repetition, repetition, repetition. The more you practice the better you will get. Talk to your gym owners about your athlete doing two teams! There maybe extra gym fees but usually it is discounted from the original team and all that extra training will make your athlete better!

Still not enough? Talk to your child's coach about what your athlete needs to work on to improve. EVERY coach wants to see their athlete succeed, progress, move forward and be happy! Coaches will work with you; you just need to ask!
