As a Scorpions Niagara Cheerleading member you’ll get access to much more than cheerleading. You’re athlete will enjoy a wide range of training benefits being on a travel team. NOVICE/PREP TEAMS

Scorpions Niagara Cheerleading offers the most reasonably priced novice and prep (local) teams.
Novice teams are ideal for athletes who are new to cheerleading or prefer to perform locally. Become a member today and start taking full advantage of the opportunities to try a new sport, workout with fun, caring coaches and make lots of new friends!
These members also have access to tumbling classes, affordable uniforms, and a convenient training schedule!

Our short term recreational classes are for kids ages 3-11 and is a great place to start if your athlete is new to cheer or you aren't ready for the commitment of a team.

What is tumbling? Tumbling is basically gymnastics but we do not train bars or beams.

TUMBLING CLASSES
What are Tumbling Classes?

Tumbling is a discipline within gymnastics that emphasizes performing skills on a spring-loaded floor or mat. Unlike traditional gymnastics, which involves apparatus like beams and bars, tumbling focuses solely on ground-based skills.
Beginner Classes: Focus on foundational skills and body awareness, often suitable for younger children.
Some skills taught included in Level 1 classes are:

Front and back walkovers, round-offs, cartwheels and front rolls.

Intermediate and Advanced Classes: These classes build on basic skills, introducing more complex techniques.
Some skills taught included in Level 2-5 are:
Backhandsprings, tucks leading into layouts, fulls and doubles.
