Andy Cecchini is the club owner; and head coach for the Scorpions Niagara.  Scorpions Niagara was established in 2001.

Andy has been involved in the world of cheerleading for over 30 years now.  Andy was actively involved in the creation of All Star cheerleading long before All -Star cheerleading was even a thought in Canada.  He assisted in running camps and clinics, judging and training coaches and athletes all over Canada and cheering himself at PCA.  Andy was also a very successful running back for Wilfred Lauriers' foot ball team for 4 years.

Andy offers numerous years of experience being involved as a head instructor for PCA, the creation of Cheer Alliance, the President of the Ontario Cheerleading Federation, a Certified Gymnastics Ontario Instructor as well as a Physical Education Department Head for over 25 years.  Andy has been very involved in Sports and Education of young people serving on SOSSA and OFSAA committees, teaching Special Education at Brock University and coaching highschool football, badminton, track and field and hockey. Andy is currently involved  with Cheer Canada and further developing All star cheerleading in Canada.
